LIESBETH SCHAAFSMA NEW MANAGING DIRECTOR OF HAMIPLANT

Schaafsma is succeeding Leon Buskermolen, who will be entrusted with the position of managing director of Waterdrinker – also part of DFG – from 1 January. The management board of Hamiplant will consist of Schaafsma and financial director Martin Vingerling.

Schaafsma boasts more than 20 years of management experience in consultancy and retail, the majority of which was within Ahold Delhaize, including positions at Albert Heijn and Gall & Gall. In her most recent role, she was responsible for managing store operations for the Jumbo chain of supermarkets.

Schaafsma comments, “I look forward to working together with my new colleagues, customers and growers. The promise ‘We bring vitality’ offers extensive opportunities to develop Hamiplant’s position in the chain. I hope to successfully contribute to this as the new managing director.”
