New management at DFG Africa
Management team in Nairobi strengthened
Dutch Flower Group (DFG) has a history of more than 20 years with local presence in Kenya, with a local office. Close to its partner growers. Dutch Flower Group Africa (DFG Africa) focuses on supply chain management for the Dutch Flower Group companies, organizing quality controls in the supply chain and planning of programs at the affiliated growers in Kenya.
The organization currently consists of 40 employees, who work from modern office facilities next to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) in Nairobi.
The management team of Dutch Flower Group Africa (DFG Africa) will have a new composition as of February 1, 2024.
Mercy Langat has been appointed general manager of DFG Africa, she has been associated with the organization as operations manager for many years. In her role, she reports to Marco Verheul, director strategic sourcing at DFG.
Grace Mwaura was recently appointed supply chain manager. She has also been active within DFG Africa for many years and has a wide expertise in the field of quality management.
Jelle Griffioen is responsible for managing Packed At Source Africa, recently opened in Tilisi. Both Grace and Jelle in their respective roles report to Mercy Langat.
With increasingly closer cooperation with Kenyan growers, the growth of packed at source activities and an increase in logistics flows by sea freight the organization is once again positioned for the future.
The entire team will of course be present at the DFG stand at the upcoming IFTEX fair, which will take place from 4 to 6 June at the Oshwal Center in Nairobi.
