From Strategy to Action: CSR workshops bringing IMPACT2030 to life

By Dane Wadsworth and Rico Ratsma

Within the UK & IE Flora Group, CSR workshops were rolled out in Q2 2026 to make IMPACT2030 tangible for all teams. The key outcome: employees not only understand their role within the strategy, but are now translating this into measurable actions and KPIs.

During the workshops, sustainability was made practical by linking day-to-day activities to carbon footprint insights and the IMPACT2030 objectives. The sessions brought together management and teams, helping to identify concrete opportunities for improvement within each department.

This resulted in tangible outcomes. At SuperFlora, the Commercial team identified improved alignment with customers and the Buying team as a priority to better embed sustainability into purchasing decisions. At JZ Flowers, a clear increase in knowledge was measured (from 7.9 to 12.5 out of 15), alongside the development of measurable KPIs. A strong example is the IT department, which further developed an existing practice (donating hardware) by introducing a tool to measure and report the associated carbon impact.

The key takeaway from these workshops is clear: every department holds a genuine interest in sustainability, and there is a strong, collective appetite to drive meaningful change.
