The winners of the Dutch Flower Awards 2015 were announced at the FloraHolland Trade Fair on Thursday 5 November.
J.W. Knoppert & Zn. from ’s-Gravenzande was decorated as the most valuable supplier in the cut flowers category. The winner in the plants category, also situated in 's-Gravenzande, is Solis Plant. Afriflora (Ethiopia) was announced as the winner of the foreign supplier category.
Preferred Partner Recognition
Packaging supplier Van Dongen-De Jong/Twinpack received a recognition for the intensive and future-oriented collaboration with the Dutch Flower Group (DFG) companies.

In his speech Marco van Zijverden, CEO of DFG, indicated that DFG's expected growth this year will be around 7% , increasing the turnover for 2015 to a value of € 1.35 billion. In the coming period DFG will, under the theme of 'invest in growth together', aim their efforts at development of talent, sustainability, innovation and increased cooperation within DFG companies and partners in the chain.
Marco thanked all employees for their efforts. It is through joint efforts that this year DFG reached the number 1 position within Hillenraad 100-500+, they received the UK Trade Investment Award for the most sustainable investment in England and they may also call themselves Master Entrepreneur of the Year.
