RUUD KNORR NEW DIRECTOR WHOLESALE AND RETAIL PLANTS AT DUTCH FLOWER GROUP AS OF FEBRUARY 2017

Important step towards further strengthening the market position of plants

On 1 February 2017, Ruud Knorr, 49, will join Dutch Flower Group as Director Wholesale and Retail Plants. He will be responsible for the management of the directors of the trading companies OZ Planten in Aalsmeer and Hamiplant in Honselersdijk, both of which specialise in plants.

Dutch Flower Group (DFG) considers Knorr's appointment an important step towards further strengthening its international position within the horticultural sector in the area of plants.
Knorr has many years of experience in the sector, having held such positions as Business Unit Manager at Landgard and, since 2011, Managing Director at Veiling Rhein-Maas (auction) in Germany.

Knorr will be joining the DFG Executive Committee, currently consisting of Marco van Zijverden (CEO), Harry Brockhoff (CFO), Boudewijn Rip (Retail Director), Marco Vermeulen (Director of Wholesale Flowers & Sourcing) and Marcel Zandvliet (Marketing Director).
